From Houston (3.5hrs from Downtown):

Hwy-290 West towards Austin - thru Brenham, Giddings, Elgin and Manor.

If getting to Austin during Austin rush hour (4:00 - 7:00p.m.) continue with these directions, otherwise see non-rush hour directions below - Just outside of Manor (the Austin side of Manor) take a right (North) onto Parmer Lane. This heads North West to bypass Austin. You will travel approx. 25 miles and cross several large intersections - Loop 1, I-35, and 620 before Parmer Lane intersects/dead ends into 1431 - take a left. Continue West on 1431 across Hwy-183 (Cedar Park), thru Jonestown and Lago Vista. 6 miles past Lago Vista you will turn left on Singleton Bend Rd - you will also see a sign for Travis Peak. If your going to the boat ramp see boat ramp instruction at bottom, otherwise continue approx. 2.3 miles on Singleton Bend Rd and go left on Singleton Bend East. Go approx. 1.7 miles on Singleton Bend East and take a left on Circle J Rd. Continue on Circle J, over low water crossing (not deep at all) onto gravel rd. to Lakeside drive - take a right on Lakeside Drive. Continue on Lakeside past rock and pipe gate with "H" on left (this will likely be locked) to Midway drive - take a left on Midway drive and our other entrance is the first drive on the left (concrete drive way - green pipe entrance with double gates). Non-Austin rush hour directions.
Continue on Hwy-290 to just outside of Austin. Take a right on Hwy-183. Take Hwy-183 thru Austin to Cedar Park. In Cedar Park take a left (West) on 1431(Albertson’s and HEB on the right side of the intersection and McDonalds on the left). Continue on 1431 thru Jonestown and Lago Vista. 6 miles past Lago Vista you will turn left on Singleton Bend Rd - you will also see a sign for Travis Peak. If your going to the boat ramp see boat ramp instruction at bottom, otherwise continue approx. 2.3 miles on Singleton Bend Rd and go left on Singleton Bend East. From Marble Falls (45 min to the house):

From the intersection of Hwy-281 and 1431 in Marble Falls, head East on 1431. Continue approx. 22 miles on 1431 to Singleton Bend rd – take a right on Singleton Bend Rd. If your going to the boat ramp see boat ramp instruction at bottom, otherwise continue approx. 2.3 miles on Singleton Bend Rd and go left on Singleton Bend East. Go approx. 1.7 miles on Singleton Bend East and take a left on Circle J Rd. Continue on Circle J, over low water crossing (not deep at all) onto gravel rd. to Lakeside drive - take a right on Lakeside Drive. Public Boat Ramp (Glouster Bend Park):

From 1431 and Singleton Bend Rd. Once on Singleton Bend Rd, continue south following “Glouster Bend Park / boat ramp signs past Singleton Bend East, and stay to the right thru two “Y’s” in the road. Towards the end of the road, you will see the park entrance on your left. Enter the park and follow the main road down to the boat launch.
